Description: Vintage Erzgebirgische Volkskunst German Nussknacker Nutcracker Soldier 11" tallw rabbit fur hair and beard Gently used, but shows wear/scuffing especially visible on base and uniform hat. There is also black paint transfer scuff on white paint of right arm. Red felt epaulet is missing from that same shoulder. I believe this version is supposed to be a Toy Soldier from The Nutcracker ballet/story and is missing the wooden dummy key to "wind" him (note the drilled hole in his lever in the back).
