Description: Esquire Magazine for December 1952. 276 pages plus covers. Measures about 10 1/4" x 13 1/4". This special Christmas issue of Esquire contained a short story by Ray Bradbury (The Gift) as well as works by Somerset Maugham, John Huston (on Moulin Rouge, a movie he was filming about Toulouse-Lautrec), and a photo spread on Marlene Dietrich. Condition is very nice. There are no cut-outs, pen/pencil notations, or loose/missing pages. The binding has held up well. Please Note: The red check-marks on the Table of Contents were printed there as part of the magazine, not written in (we've checked another copy online to confirm). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our father was a bibliophile who collected rare books, letters, and ephemera for more than 60 years.
