Within the tray are 5 separate components, 2 cut glass inkwells with hinged silver plated lids. Center removable vessel, adorned with scallop design at the base. The construction of this piece is quite interesting, with two removable pins on the underside of the tray. These pins slide through the holes of the flaps and through protruding tabs from the holders above the tray, this firmly holding the base ink well holders in place. The condition of this superb example is in excellent condition with no dents or bleeding. This Standish measures 15 inches by 9 inches. It stands one inch off the feet.
