Description: Thank you for your interest in this rare, complete set of six Gerda Neubacher ‘Classic Fairy Tales’ plates. The plates were printed in West Germany and distributed by Bradford Exchange in the early 80’s. The Complete 6-Piece Set Includes: Plate # 1 - The Frog King (‘Der Froschkönig’)Plate # 2 - Puss in Boots (‘Der gestiefelte Kater’)Plate # 3 - Little Red Riding Hood (‘Rotkäppchen’)Plate # 4 - Hansel and Gretel (‘Hänsel and Gretel’)Plate # 5 - Cinderella (‘Adchenputtel’)Plate # 6 - Sleeping Beauty (‘Dornröschen’) Each edition in the series was limited to a fifty-day firing schedule. Plates are numbered and hand-decorated with 24-karat gold. Diameter of each plate is 7 3/4 inches. These plates have remained in storage in my childhood home since the early’s 80’s. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. Each of the plates (except for Cinderella) comes with a tiny 3 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch booklet written in both English and German. Each plate will be shipped in its original pale green ‘Genuine Kaiser Porcelain’ box. The boxes range from good to excellent condition.
