Description: This is a laser cut short kit for the 28’ Gar Wood Triple Cockpit Runabout. The boat is 1/8th scale (42” long, 10 3/4” beam). The parts are laser cut, the frames, keel, and hatch frames are 3/16” Basswood. The model is designed for the Astro Flight 860M-5T outrunner motor. The motor mounting gives plus or minus .10” adjustment up and down, and side to side. The motor can be removed and replaced without affecting the alignment to the shaft and log. This short kit does NOT contain any sheet or stick wood. This short kit does NOT contain any hardware. The plans have all stations at full size, and full size views and sections. The plans are new paper CAD plots that have all parts full size on the sheets. A beautiful boat can be built from these plans. This kit was designed from Gar Wood drawings. If you want to build a classic speed boat, this kit has done all the cutting of frames and shaped structural pieces for you. Shipping is in a 9 pound 6” X 6” X 48” box by USPS Priority Mail.
