Description: A 1988 Limited Edition angel, "Rachael", from Glass House Studio Inc. leaded art glass. The figure stands approximately 9 1/2" in height and is in overall good vintage condition. There is a crack across the base, and it appears that the metal in that same area has been re-soldered, making the base not sit completely flat, but there are no other chips or cracks. The included paperwork states that the production of the item was limited to 8,000 in this nickel plated finish. The bottom of the angel is engraved "GHM 1988 209". Glass House began making collectible angels in 1975 and issued a limited edition angel each year into the early 2000s. Each limited edition consists of angels of the exact same style, but colors vary within the production quantity. Additionally, in some years, part of the collection was issued as nickel plated and part as 24k gold plated. From the research I have conducted, it appears that there are not a large number of these angels available on the market.
