Sometimes simply known as “gold glass” or “gold sandwich glass”, this type of glass is made by placing gold and silver foil between two layers of glass and fusing them together. It’s quite a lovely style, which does wear away over time like reverse applied foil. In good condition, no chips. You can feel the foil in a few spots and there is a small scratch on the underside, as well as some shelf wear. See pictures for closer detail. Platter is 15.5” wide.
