Description: They look like all the same pattern. some say "Gorham Sterling" BUT some just say "STERLING" with symbols of a lion, anchor and an ornate "G". One table spoon is stamped "A B Griswold & Co" but it's the exact same floral pattern as the others. Some also say "Patent 1900". They come in a, Maken's Tarnish Proof Silverware Chest and it works great because I've had these stored for about 30 years and they're still nice and shiny. The chest has some minor scratches and nicks but looks good overall and works great. These were owned by Dallas, Texas entrepreneur, Roy Thompson who was a precious metals refiner. Strangely I spoke briefly with him when I was 21yo at Trader's Village in Grand Prairie, Tx where he was selling gold and silver bars et... After he died I met his daughter in college and we were together for 7 years. That's how I acquired this Silverware set. When his daughter told me that her father sold at Traders Village I realized that that was him that I spoke with. At the time his daughter was 14yo and neither of us knew that I'd be dating her. I met his daughter just after Roy died.
