Description: This small antique bronze oil lamp is a perfect example of a Grand Tour souvenir a traveler would have brought back in 1868. The lamp is in excellent condition and is dated on the lid, with two crossed hammers between the 18 and the 68. It was found in the south of France. The lid has a stylized bird and the piece has a great patina. There are no other markings. Measurements are: diameter 3 3/8". hight with the hanging bracket extended 8 3/4".
