The issues are in exceptional condition. This volume was from the library of Harvard Law Dean Roscoe Pound. His signature is bold and large(3” x 2”), and is dated February 24, 1897. Professor Pound was at that time at the University of Nebraska completing his ph.d. in botany, but soon after left for Cambridge and professor of law and, later, Dean. This is a very readable and entertaining magazine of law and American legal culture. The signature and ownership by Roscoe Pound makes this an unusual collection for any lawyer or as a special gift.
