Description: This is a Grundig Yacht Boy YB 400PE LW/MW/SW/FM stereo receiver. It features a headphone jack and supports longwave, shortwave, and AM/FM bands. This portable AM/FM radio is being sold for parts or repair. I tested this radio and it is not working properly even after pressing the reset button. Problems:The display turns on and lights up using batteries however it is nearly unreadable due to the LCD screen brightness being set too high. I could not find a way to adjust the display brightness.The radio acts like it turns on and tunes to radio stations however there is no sound from either the internal speaker or from the headphone jack. Also, the signal strength meter always shows a level of 1 as if the radio is not picking up radio stations.I could not get the AC adapter jack to power the radio.There is a crack on the bottom of the radio (circled in red in my photos).The battery cover is missing.The display is moderately scratched and scuffed up.The antenna is in great condition.
