Description: Hand Thrown Studio Pottery Vase Rust Brown Glaze Powerful Form Mystery Artist Description and Item Information Up for sale is this hand thrown studio art pottery vase. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This pot has a powerful form which is decorated with rust and brown glazes. The throwing rings are visible on this hand made pot. This piece is approximately 9 inches tall, and it has a maximum diameter of about 6 inches. Unpacked, this piece weighs 3 pounds 4.6 ounces. It would be a neat addition to a collection of studio ceramics. Identification This piece is marked beneath, as shown, but the artist's identity is not known. This piece was acquired in northern California. It is believed to be vintage, but the exact age is not known. Condition This vase has no cracks, and it looks great overall. It has light wear. As is visible in Photo 3 (at approximately the 11 o'clock position of the base), there is a very small, flat flake to the edge of the unglazed foot rim. This does not detract.
