Description: Presenting a stunning Haviland and Co Limoges Tureen with delicate handpainted forget-me-nots. The mark dates it between 1888 and 1896. The condition is remarkable considering the age. Even the gold has held up well, look carefully at the pictures to see that even the tiny gold dots on the handles are still there. There is very minor wear to the gold overall and no crazing! There are 2 tiny dots under the glaze on one side and there is some wear from normal usage at the top inside of the bowl where the lid sits. Width from the outside of the handles is about 12 1/2", the depth of the bowl is about 3 1/4" and the depth of the bowl to the top of the cover is about 7". This is an exquisite example of Haviland, and a wonderful addition to any collection.
