Description: Rare 1976 pre-release promo copy of Herb Pederson’s debut LP, Southwest, on Epic PE-34225. Called South by Southwest on the labels. Nice white label promo pressing in a plain white cover. Features loads of great players including Jim Gordon and Larry Carlton, and singers Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris. Classic 70s country rock. The disc is nearly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There is a superficial scuff through the first track of side two but it doesn’t make a sound. Still plays perfectly. The white cover, clearly, has some water damage at the top. Still intact and not falling apart, with no mildew smell or anything like that. A very nice and rare advance promo copy, that sounds incredible.
