The Ram Pump is a water pump that does not need fuel or electricity to operate. Only flowing and falling water. You do need at least 2.5 feet of water drop in your source for the pump to operate. The pump does not work in a lake or pond because the water source has to come from above the pump location. You will need a drive pipe to get water from the source to the pump. This pipe is best as PVC pipe but Poly Pipe also works well. The drive pipe needs to be a length of between 25 feet and 100 feet long. You are also going to need a Delivery Pipe to take water from the pump uphill. This can be PVC Pipe, Poly Pipe, or Garden Hose.
