Also called "Cartridge" heaters. • Carries a One Year Guarantee, but it should last 4-5 years with moderate to heavy use. • When your machine quits heating up, it is almost always the heating element, and very rarely the rheostat. I have rebuilt over 500 Kingsley machines and have replaced only 3 rheostats. • Kingsley used several configurations during the years; these heaters can be adapted to all of them, and there is really no need for an instruction sheet for most of them. Just insert the cylinder into its cavity and tighten the screws. There are two exceptions:1) The M101 holds the heating element in the print head with a set screw on the right side as you face the machine. You'll need a 1/16" allen wrench to release it. Otherwise the heater needs no modification.2) Some M101s have a j-plug (I'm sorry - that was Kingsley's worst configuration because it wears out with the up and down action of the printhead), I recommend bypassing it with a modification kit that I have developed ($8.00).
