She has such a passion for these fin jewels, that she started creating Koi digital paintings in 2009. Theresa has been painting in the style of realism of the Old Master’s Technique since the 1970s using oils and mixed media. She has won awards for her paintings in her native state Southern California. Theresa studied four years of oil painting in the “Old Master’s Technique.” As a fine artist and graphic designer, she has applied her knowledge of computer design and fine arts to create digital paintings. Theresa creates her original digital paintings in her computer using software to draw and paint. She uses a high-resolution Epson Artisan printer to print her digital paintings as Giclée prints from sizes 8" x 10", 11" x 14" and 12"x18".
