Description: Krampus, a character with roots in Germanic folklore, plays the counterpart to Saint Nicholas(the nice guy) during the Christmas season and is thought to punish those children who misbehaved by beating them with tree branches or if you have really been naughty he will stuff ya in a sack and drag you back to the worst place you can imagine among other things. Traditionally the young men of the Alpine countries would dress up as Krampus during the first week of December (particularly Dec 5th) and take to the streets frightening children.
