Lot of 15 vintage 1950's-60's Juvenile Hardcovers, Whitman Publishing, Racine WI

Description: Sold chiefly as decor. Considered as books, condition ranges from pretty decent to very poor. A few of the volumes (e.g. Five Little Peppers) are basically falling apart, and a few (e.g. Champions All the Way) are basically fine. I'm sorry that photos can't fully demonstrate the range of conditions or document all the damage, but if you are familiar with this series, you already know that in like half of them the spine panels are separating from the rest of the cover, and the pages are all tanned and brittle. I will gladly answer questions or supply additional photos of any particular volume if you are interested, but will not sell individually. Again this set is offered mostly as decor and you should not expect too much of it in the way of reading material. Most of these titles exist in many cheap and durable editions and you can buy better reading copies anywhere. There are two copies of Little Women (different covers, one much better than the other) but otherwise no duplicates. Weight of the books alone is about twelve pounds, exclusive of packaging materials.
