Description: Lot of misc. ornaments / devices from wooden trunks, dug at Fort Inge, Texas. From the collection of an elderly man (now deceased) who lived in Uvalde and owned several acres of land directly adjacent to the fort. Was in a box of relics that he had marked "Fort Inge." Fort Inge was in use from 1849 through the Civil War and was garrisoned by dragoons, mounted riflemen, and the Confederates also used the fort during the Civil War.
