Marantz 2220B Stereo Receiver - Serviced, In real nice condition, Read Listing

Description: This Vintage Marantz 2220B Solid State Stereo (1972-74) receiver has been serviced and is in Excellent Condition. This unit was in storage for many years the lady that owned it said she purchased it in the mid 1970's, and she was the only owner she also said it was placed in a audio cabinet all these years. So I did the following, the unit has been cleaned and checked, all pots, switches have been cleaned and treated with Deoxit products and operate smoothly and quietly for static free operation. The tuner didn't need to be aligned it was still within manufacturer’s specs when tested. The tuning section pulls in stations extremely well and the tuning scale function is smooth. The caps were reconditioned by using a Variac on a 72 hour slow voltage till max voltage for this receiver was reached. The caps were re-tested using my in-circuit capacitor wizard tester, and are within manufacturer’s specs, So I only replaced some of caps on the power board, which were in the compare stage meaning close to replacement the rest were within specs. So this unit remains close to it's original Marantz form and sound. The dial lamps and meter lamp have been changed to warm Blue LED’s to give it the original Marantz look and give you many more years of service. The face plate is in Excellent condition please look at photo's. The metal wood grain cabinet is in excellent condition as well. The unit is in 100% Working Condition, Nice, Clean, Warm, Marantz sound, and all systems have been checked, and function at 100%. You will really enjoy listening to this Marantz unit.
