Marantz PMD351/U1B Stereo Cassette Deck CD Player

Description: Up for bids is a Marantz PMD351 Cassete/CD deck in decent condition. I tested the unit as much as I could without any sort of receiver or other controlling unit, which admittedly isn't a lot. It definitely turns on, and all the mechanical functions seem ok, but really that's about as far as I could get. The tape deck seems to function well, it plays, rewinds/fast forwards, but I can't say for sure if it records or how it sounds. The CD drive opens but won't read any disc that I tried in it, so it either needs a good deep cleaning or the drive motor is burnt out on it. This unit and the other 2 Marantz units I have for sale at the moment all came from the same local radio station...they're all pretty clean, but they've seen their fair share of use as well but Marantz is a high quality brand, even if they end up being scrapped for parts, the internal bits of these are going to be quality components.
