Description: This is a Mars & Valentine statement mixed material necklace made with bits of vintage jewelry and what looks like an old watch band or something similar for the bail. I think the pearls are freshwater and they have a really wonderful texture. The focal piece looks like an adoreable glass toy heart and toy crystal, just marvelous! The heart is reverse painted in essex crystal style. If you look close and zoom in, you will see the silver paint on the back side of the crystal. It has imperfections, but they add to the charm, in a shabby chic way, like a tarnished mirror. This is an older, pre-loved piece and has moderate tarnish and is dusty from storage.
