Locator professionals can take control of all of their locates with the rugged and highly accurate 9800 Series. Nice Metrotech 9890xt receiver and 9890xt transmitter. Receiver has 60Hz and power setting as well as 982,9.82 and 82. Transmitter has 982, 9.82 and 82. Case is in excellent shape, ground rod included. 9.82 signal is great for locating electrical, cable and phone, as well as streetlights. 82 is best for corroded steel and stainless and iron, water and sewer. Receiver and transmitter are both in good shape. Induced on the electrical it picked up good. 9.82 and 82 both worked well at both inducing and direct connect. Set comes with batteries for the transmitter and receiver. I changed out several power wires and the 1/4 jack port and replaced the transmitter label as well as secured the battery posts on the unit. The receiver has had the inside of the case reiforced and the battery clip replaces and the unit cleaned and inspected. Comes with new battery tray for receiver and a ground plate with a bag.
