This is actually in very good condition despite the cover being loose and having a few storage marks on it. The glue gets old on these older guides, so the covers don't always stay on. That can be fixed. Please note that I have 2 more of these same guides listed in my store on eBay while they last. All of them have the loose cover. Bad glue, I guess. This guide is from the Minnesota Timberwolves first inaugural basketball season that began in 1989. This listing also has a Beckett Monthly guide with it as well from 1993. It features Christian Laettner from the Wolves. The guide is Volume One Number One. They played their first home game against Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. There is a full-page photo of Jordan dunking with the infamous tongue hanging out in this guide. There is also an article on "The Marketing of Michael Jordan".
