Description: Manufactured in Japan between 1986 and 2005, this Nikkor 800mm f5.6 ED IF AIS telephoto lens is in mint condition and comes in a beautiful and sturdy carrying case. The built-in lens hood (that extends out about 1 inch) does not function. You will need to use the included Nikon HE-3 lens hood. This Nikkor 800mm f5.6 ED IF AIS super telephoto lens captures subjects at great distances with sharp definition throughout the entire focal plane. This internal focusing lens is optimized for sports, wildlife, difficult to approach subjects, and many more photographic applications. This lens incorporates Extra-low dispersion glass elements to hold the secondary spectrum to a minimum and to prevent deterioration in picture quality from chromatic aberration to deliver razor sharp photos.
