Description: This is an authentic U.S Army model 1878 canteen possibly from the spanish American war era. It is fairly clean compared to other canteens listed but does have some staining on it. The U.S. is very visible and the cork stopper is still present along with the chain for it and the holder for it, although it is missing it’s leather strap which originally came with these type of canteens. It would be a great addition to anyone’s military collection and this item comes from a smoke free home.
