Description: Very cool Mid-Century Modern elongated head sculpture done in the style of early 20th century Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. This Modernist abstract head has a long triangular mostly expressionless face with a long flat nose and simple lines for eyes and mouth. The hair is indicated with subtle curled lines. It's made of glazed ceramic in a grey color, and has no maker's marks that I can see. The bottom is covered in ceramic with two casting holes and four rubberized feet. It stands almost 14" tall by 5.5" wide by 4.5" deep, and weighs 2.5 lbs. A fine addition to your abstract sculpture collection or Modernist decor.
