Description: Mullard (GE Label) EL34 6CA7 Halo Getter Tube NOS NIB HICKOK & Maxi TESTED. This is not a Blackburn mullard . It has skinny bottle and no hole in pin guide. This is most likely from late 70s when Mullard started outsourcing production. Still a very good tube that sounds close to Blackburn XF4 tubes and still better than current production at a nice price. Tested per user manual procedures on recently calibrated Hickok 6000A. Passed all tests: Filament Continuity Test: Passed Shorts Test: Passed Quality Test: Passed Mutual Conductance Test: 6000 / 6000 (NOS MINIMUM) Gas (Grid Current) Test: Passed Life Test: Passed Maxi-Matcher 2 tester results: Plate current: 41.6 MA Transconductance: 5.95 Also tested in THD Bi Valve Guitar amp for performance and sound at operating voltage. For the most reliable and comparable results, I try to test using both vintage and modern test equipment along with testing in amps when possible. Test results will vary between testers as it is not an exact science. I recommend all vintage tube pins to be cleaned before usage for best performance. Will combine shipping.
