Nikon Coolpix S4000 12.0MP Digital Camera (Silver) - LENS ERROR, PLEASE READ!

Description: Nikon Coolpix S4000 12.0MP Digital Camera in NON-WORKING condition. LENS ERROR, PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION! This camera is in very good cosmetic condition with very minimal wear to the camera body. The case is missing the screws on the sides so the front and rear covers of the camera body are not fully intact. The rear LCD screen has several but very light scratches (see photos). When I first powered this camera on it brought up the date/time setting screen and I was able to navigate out of it with the touchscreen. Once I did that, the lens tried to extend, but was not successful. I took the battery out and tried putting it back in and the camera immediately started making sounds as if the motor was stuck on. At this point none of the buttons would get it to shut off and the only way it stopped was by removing the battery. I was not able to test this camera beyond this point so I'm unaware of any other issues it may or may not have. Being sold AS IS for PARTS OR REPAIR based on the information above.
