They have been out of production for many years and are nearly impossible to locate. This has the 2 Prong inside design. NOT the earlier 3 Prong design. I believe the correct Casco element for this housing is the #72 Casco. (contact me if I’m incorrect) This is NOT a reproduction. This is the real deal GM part. This lighter housing is engraved: [Casco 12V Made IN USA 1971]. It does NOT come with the original box, unless you by both (2) that I have for sale. (see the photos and use the zoom) This original Cigarette Lighter Housing was installed in 1970 late -1975 Corvettes. It was GM #3986869 (made by Casco). The same housing was also used for other GM models during the same period. You must have the proper Casco element for this to function properly. The sale is for one (1) housing.
