The wood frames measure 7" square not including the ring for hanging.The frames have slightly different metallic coloring inside of the wood edges. One is gold with a warm undertone and one is a silvery-gold with a cool undertone. They coordinate well with each other. 1971 is handwritten on the back of each one.They are in good vintage condition. There is light wear to the velvet.
