It was worn by the Rockettes at the premier of "Elmer the Great," a live stage show that played at Radio City Music Hall in May of that year. Today, there are a variety of costumes worn by the Rockettes, each of which is handmade and custom-tailored and ineludes a hat to maintain the uniform look of the troupe.
