Description: Here we have for auction a stunning 18th Century engraving of military fortifications used in the 1700's. We have not been able to determine what book this print is from. The upper right corner marks it as "Plate XIII". The piece measures 10 1/16 inches by 15 3/8 inches. It is in nice, vintage condition with no worm holes and has been stored flat for a long time. It has a pencil notation of 1762 in the lower right corner. A great item, framed, for the avid historian, military expert or anyone who appreciates fine engravings.
