*RARE* 1953 MAXINE "MAX-INE" Milton Berle's TV Secretary Walking DOLL 16" vtg

Description: Nearly impossible to find! Roberta Dolls produced this doll for only 2 years in 1953-1954. She is Maxine (or commonly called "Max") who was Milton Berle's secretary on his TV show in the 1950's. She has her original big bow and even has her little steno pad to take notes! Really nice condition - her saran hair is fabulous (red and silky), eyes open and close, and she is a functioning walker. There is one small split in her plastic at the hip - see last photo. Face is clean and bright. Open mouth with teeth. Original dress and shoes. Fresh out of an estate and the lady had received the doll as a gift as a child and never played with it (she did scribble on one page of the steno pad!! :) ). Doll is approx. 16" tall.
