Description: Back story- My younger sister actually competed in the 1980 games as a swimmer for Peru. No she did not place in any of her events but she did compete and had a wonderful experience. She brought back these posters as well as a number of different items from the games. As she is ready to part with them I will list them on her behalf - Rare, Original Soviet Poster for the 1980 Moscow Olympics featuring the Olympic Mascot, Misha the bear. These were the 22nd Summer Olympic Games (or also Games of the XXII Olympiad). The message says, "You are Welcome" in Russian, French, and English. Misha was designed by Soviet illustrator Viktor Chizhikov. Poster is in good condition generally. There is some light creasing and wear around the edges; and some creasing from storage in a tube all these years. Should iron out without an issue if you are so inclined to try this method - Please see the photos. Size is 22" x 171/4" - Will ship in a tubeThis is a used item so minor signs of wear should be expected. Any additional notes specific to this item are listed above.
