RARE Royal Doulton Boxed Pair Minis Sairey Gump & Old Charley, Warrant George V

This is part of a large collection of Royal Doulton "Toby"/Character jugs I am listing today. They are a variety of sizes from "Mini", 2 1/4" to 2 1/2"; Small, 3 1/4" to 4" ; and Large 5 1/4" to 7". Please note the size before ordering. I am happy to consider Best Offers for multiple items shipped together.This is a rare original boxed pair of miniature jugs, Old Charlie and Sairey Gamp, introduced in 1939. The box references Royal Doulton "By Appointment Potters to the Late King George V". George V died in 1936. By convention a Warrant is to be used up to five years after the monarch's death. So this box should date to between 1936 and 1941. The brochure inside references "Character and Toby Jugs", Collector's Book No. 5. The brochure also states "Gift Boxes contain the following: 1. Old Charlie and Sairey Gamp...." so this appears to be all original. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
