Description: This listing is for a vintage poster from the "Federation Of Conservative Students" (FCS) which was student organization of the British Conservative Party. The FCS started using this name in 1967 after being formerly known as the Federation of University Conservative and Unionists Associations (FUCUA) which was set up in the 1940s. The FCS changed their name again in 1987. The top half of the poster pictures a photo of a missile and Lenin during a parade in the Red Square. The main text in the bottom half reads "APPEASEMENT DIED WITH SIX MILLION JEWS IN A CONCENTRATION CAMP" and a quote from Frank Allaun, MP, Former Chairman, Labour Party "Would not the enemy destroy virtually the whole of Britain as a launching pad for the American missiles if we were suicidal enough to oppose it?" The FCS identifies itself in the bottom left corner as "THE RADICAL ALTERNATIVE". This poster measures 16 1/2" x 23 1/4" and is in excellent condition with just minor signs of wear around edges in a few places. This will be mailed in a mailing tube.
