Description: Rare/Vintage: ALOHA AIRLINES FOLIO BRIEF (circa 1960s). “Fairchild F-27” Collector’s Item Measurement: 15-1/4” x 10-1/4” This folio brief is made of plastic and though it’s been in storage for the past 55+ years, I’m surprised of the good condition it’s in. The plastic has hardened a little and slightly warped on the front. The top edges of the front lining has torn about an inch at both ends. The tears are actually not visible when the flap closes. The metal fastener is still functional, but has aged with a little rust/tarnish. There are 2 gold imprints on the front … one says, “Fairchild F-27” right above the fastener, which refers to the planes Aloha flew between 1959-1967. The other imprint is that of their iconic Bird of Paradise Logo. This folio brief would make a great addition to Aloha Airlines, Aviation or Travel Memorabilia Collection.
