Description: Vintage Chinese Woven Rattan Bamboo Nesting Baskets/Chests Storage Trunks, Picnic, Decorative Set of Two *PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ DESCRIPTION** These rattan nesting baskets are a beautiful set. •They both have the a hook/latch where a lock could be placed if desired. (Pictured in pictures #19 & #20) •Both chests have measurements written in Chinese in pencil on the backs of them. (Pictured in picture #11 & #21) •Each basket has handmade wire handles and wire hinges. They open and close with no problems. •It appears as if the wooden bottoms of the baskets are made from cedar but I’m not positive what type of wood was used. •They come from a clean, smoke free home. •They could be used as decorative pieces, for storage, picnics etc **Please view the pictures as I circled any minor imperfections seen on the bamboo. There is a small scratch near one of the latches. Additionally, there are a few small spots on one of the baskets. The white “spots” resemble a substance such as spackling. I’m uncertain what it is, but it’s possible it could easily come off. I just didn’t want to mess with it. I figured I’d leave it alone and let the buyer decide if they wanted to try to remove it or not** APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: Larger Basket: 17”L x 11”H x 11”W - the bottom of the basket (not including the lid) is roughly 9” deep.
