The bulb uses up to 2.6 watts. The socket is a BAY15D socket which is 15mm diameter and has the bayonets offset and two contacts on the bottom. The White 6000K bulb starts to light at 3.5 Volts. Operating this bulb 8 Volts or above will damage this bulb and void warranty. The bulb uses approximately 290mA@6.8 Volts for the brake light and 90 mA@6.8 Volts for the taillight. After installation these led bulbs may cause hyper flashing. Long life up to 30,000 hours. The MOL is 1.47" from top to bottom. The diameter is 0.78". The led bulb is usually smaller than a incandescent bulb so you know that it will fit. The bulb only uses 2.6 Watts and is comparable to a 24 Watt incandescent bulb. These bulbs are designed for taillights and brake lights, ie a dual filament bulb. This LED bulb is designed for taillight and brake light. These LED bulbs do not have built in load equalizers and may require load equalizers to be installed to operate correctly. Please make sure the vehicle or motorcycle is approximately regulated to 6 volts. Every bulb is tested before shipping. The bulbs are warrantied for 1 year. Included two bulbs per package.
