Description: Beautiful small vase in earthly tones of cream, umber, ochre & sienna. The exterior has a matt finish with bands of colour, and incised decoration at the base and below the rim. The interior has a gloss yellow glaze. The design is a fusion of the modern styles of mid-century modern and antiquity, and would fit in a range of home décors. It was produced by BAY Keramik in West Germany between the 1960s-1970s. It is a very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or obvious signs of wear. It has a height of 14 cm, with a diameter at the rim of 7.5 cm, at the base of 5.5 cm and at widest point of 9 cm. It is marked on the base with “WEST GERMANY” and design # 581-14.
