Description: Sanders & Aguilar 925 Fine Sterling Silver Vesta Case. (c. 1900). * To preserve their qualities, I always handle my Silver Items with care. Never with bare fingers and hands. William Sanders & Harold Felix Aguilar founded the silver company, Sanders & Aguilar. This sterling silver vesta case has a hallmark (anchor, passant lion, and date letter a) which indicates that the silver was assayed and approved by the Birmingham Assay Office in England, in the year 1900. It also has the Sanders & Aguilar's hallmark (S&A). It weights 0.400oz., measures 7/8 of an inch wide x 1 5/16in. tall & 5/16 of an inch deep. Its inside has been gold-washed. Striker is in very good condition. It has some very nice decorations. Also, has a "bail" that can be attached to a chain or necklace. Notice also the personalized 'initials' on one side.
