Description: This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. In the Seventies, there was no bigger phenomenon at Marvel than Conan the Barbarian. Adapted from the classic stories of Robert E. Howard, Conan was a very big hit. Marvel kicked off its successful black and white magazine series in the early Seventies with Savage Tales, and then continued its brilliantly illustrated tales of the character with Savage Sword of Conan, which ran for a number of years. Here I have Savage Sword of Conan #48, dated January 1980. It's in low grade condition overall, the magazine having suffered water damage. The covers have some surface damage staining and the back cover has been creased. The bottom 1/2 inch of the interior pages are somewhat browned, but the pages are generally flexible and not brittle - see scans for condition. It's still a good reading copy. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $4.50 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
