Description: Description Each banknote of the Bolívar Fuerte features a famous Venezuelan political figure on the front and wildlife on the back with changes in color depending on the year. On the obverse of the 500 Bolívar is Francisco de Miranda, Supreme Chief of Venezuela. On the reverse are two river dolphins with the gusano flower and Médanos de Coro National Park in the background. On the 1,000 note is Pedro Camejo, also known as "Negro Primero", who was most recognized as a lieutenant in Simon Bolívar's army. On the reverse are two giant armadillos grazing on the plains of Los Llanos. The 2,000 notes display a proud Cacique Guaicaipuro, Venezuelan chief of the Caracas and Teques tribes. On the back is an American Harpy Eagle and the Ucaima Falls in Canaima National Park. Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, Venezuelan heroine, is on the front of the 5,000 banknote. On the back are two hawksbill turtles with the Macanao Mountains from the Laguna de la Restinga National Park in the background. The 10,000 notes highlight Simón Rodríguez, a famous Venezuelan educator that mentored Simon Bolívar. On the back is a spectacled bear roaming Laguna Santo Cristo at Sierra Nevada National Park. The 20,000 notes feature famed Venezuelan leader Simón Bolívar, known in all of Venezuela as "El Libertador".On the reverse are two red siskins perched on a branch in El Ávila National Park. To help curve inflation the 100,000 Bolívar was introduced in 2017. The banknote incorporates identical imagery to the 20,000 banknotes but in a golden-yellow color.
