Both cassette tapes play but I believe because the heads need to be cleaned, the film stocks to the roller but not in a tangled up fashion. I also believe the CD player would work if compartment was cleaned from dust build up, but for now it will not play cd. Honestly I believe this unit would be fully functioning if thoroughly cleaned.
