We are pleased to offer from our personal collection this antique Staffordshire Pearlware Bacchus Satyr Face Jug / Pitcher. The painted face is in superb condition with only minimal amount of wear. The jug is all original with no restorations. One of the few found with a beautiful over-glaze enamel painted face, goatee, eyes, brows, ears, horns, teeth, and grape wreath. The tree trunk knobs behind the face are painted with multi colors of iron red and gold with gols "leaf" motifs between.
