The glass is clean and clear with no scratches, no cleaning marks, no haze, no fungus, no separation, just a minimal amount of usual micro-dust inside. Aperture opens and closes quickly and easily with no oil on blades. It works both in manual and automatic modes, in manual mode it opens and closes as soon as you rotate the aperture control ring. In automatic mode it stays open until you press the shutter button, and then instantly closes to the selected f-stop and remains closed until you rotate the aperture ring back into the open position. Focusing ring rotates easily and smoothly, with nice even feel to it. Cosmetically the lens looks very clean with excellent paint finish, no scratches or dents, maybe a few tiny scuffs. It comes with two caps, as shown.
