Description: This listing is for a Vintage Mid 20th Century (1940-1969) United States Navy Officers Wardroom Stoneware Serving/Mixing Bowl which stands approximately 3 1/2" tall with a 9 1/2" diameter, holds 2 quarts and was in manufacture during the 1940s. Crafted by The Technical Porcelain and Chinaware Company (TEPCO) in El Cerrito, California of the United States, this Vintage Serving Bowl was specifically designed and manufactured for the U.S. Navy for use in Officers Wardrooms on land and at sea prior to and during World War II. All dressed up in a Single Blue Banded/Stripped Design at the rim on a lightly speckled Cream colored bowl emblazoned with a Geometrically Shaped USN Navy Emblem, this fairly rare piece can only be properly described through pictures! Ready, willing and definitely able, this patriotic bowl lies in wait to mix it up and serve it up at your next dinner party. The condition of this piece is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with NO chips, cracks, crazing, fading or any other visual imperfections. This is a used piece so there is some minor usage wear & tear (minor utensil marks, underglaze manufacturing decolorization, usage wear to underside foot ring) consistent with its vintage age.
