Description: Up for sale (1st 3 photos only) is a very rare Sawchuk rookie era signature on the Turofsky photo used for his 1951 Parkhurst rookie card. This is not the Bee-Hive photo where the stick blade is cut off and his name printed on the photo. The last 3 photos show the only other one I could find sold back in 2008 by Classic Auctions when Gretzky PSA 9 opc rookies and PSA 8 Orr rookies were selling for $5-6k. This one for sale now has a circa 1951 Sawchuk graph which is in great condition. No signed Sawchuk rookie cards are known to exist so this is the closest thing to it. A JSA COA with notary stamp is included. If you research all Sawchuk autos on Classic Auctions you’ll see that this is his very early auto style with his four noticeable pressure points on the first and last letters of his first and last names. There is no fading to the ink as it was well preserved by the original owner.
